A rustic Craft sighting at Rich Table in San Francisco
17 June 2019
We were recently overjoyed to spot a mouth-watering presentation of food on Craft from Rich Table. Nestled in the beating heart of Hayes Valley, San Francisco, this convivial and comfortable restaurant is designed to be enjoyed in the company of good friends. Visitors are treated to an intimate and thoughtful interior oozing with rural farmhouse charm. But, by far, the star of the show is the food and drink that graces the menu. Ever-changing, just like the seasons, diners can delight in creatively crafted, delicious ‘bites’ featuring the very best of seasonal produce alongside effortless wine pairings.
This is perfectly illustrated in the dish pictured. A delightful mixture of classic and contemporary influences, the chicken liver mousse with blueberry hoisin is perfectly complemented by the unexpected addition of a fluffy-yet-firm Chinese steamed bun. Plated up on the ever-popular Craft tableware from Steelite International, the elegant texture, subtle details, natural imperfections and earthy colouring of the plate pays homage to the cultural influences combined in this dish.
Social experiences centred around food is what Rich Table is all about, and their choice of catering tableware is a subtle but effective tribute to heritage, food, and love. For more inspiration from Steelite International, follow the links below:
