A delightful sighting of Ink at Ocean At Main
18 November 2019
Offering up a quintessential Southern Californian dining experience within an early 1940’s building, Ocean at Main is a breath of fresh sea air. Combining contemporary decor alongside authentic wooden design features, the interior of the restaurant is simultaneously modern and intimate with guests encouraged to gather around the gleaming wraparound bar or even dine al fresco in the cosy outdoor area.
With the aesthetics speaking for themselves, it is no surprise that the food served here is vivid, fresh and bursting with flavour. This is perfectly illustrated in the featured dish which is happily nestled on Steelite International’s Ink tableware. Featuring vegan pavlovas with pearls of passion fruit tapioca, luscious coconut cream and guava sorbet, this enticing plate of food was created by pastry chef Keara Wilson.
Beautifully presented on the Ink Crackle plate, the colourful dessert oozes sophistication, style and elegance. Complemented effortlessly by the mosaic effect pattern of the catering tableware, the diner’s eye is drawn to the fresh white pavlova framed by the vibrant yellow of the passion fruit tapioca and mouth-watering pastel pink sorbet.
Heavily influenced by antique opulence, the Ink tableware collection is both eclectic and homely making it perfect for classic dishes boasting a modern twist. For more inspiration from Steelite International, follow the links below:
