From Netflix stars to new brands, we have had a busy 12 months. 

We kicked off the year in January, announcing the acquisition of Hollowick, Inc., a USA-based company and innovator in tabletop lighting and food warming solutions. This acquisition has allowed Steelite to expand its product offering and provide the opportunity to set the mood for a complete tabletop experience. 

May saw the introduction of our “Art of Presentation” campaign at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, IL. Following on from the launch, an event was held at Ristorante San Domenico Imola. This collaboration with our Italian partner FSG Italia incorporated a 6-course dining experience. Head Chefs, Restaurant Managers, Journalists and Owners all came together to celebrate fine food, wines, tableware and beverageware.  

Closely followed by the opening of our new showroom and experience centre in Madrid, providing a European destination where hoteliers and other members of the hospitality industry can demo and experiment with Steelite International’s products, and collections from well-known hospitality brands. 

For the first time, Steelite attended The Restaurant Show in September where thousands of professionals across the hospitality sector united in showcasing the best products, services, and innovations in the market. From hoteliers and restaurateurs to chefs and casual dining operators, Steelite also had the opportunity to host Netflix star, Asma Khan on the stand for a book signing in conjunction with her latest cookery book, Ammu. 

Rounding up the year, Steelite acquired Walco, a deeply rooted and highly respected supplier of high-end flatware, steak knives, holloware and buffet products to the U.S. hospitality market. With over 100 years of history and workmanship, Walco has been at the forefront of developing innovative and high-quality designs that have shaped the foodservice industry.
